Make-A-Wish holiday drive: Abigail's story

We do many amazing charitable works through Jordana’s Jordana's Rainbows.  One of our most favourite campaigns to work on is the Jordana’s Rainbows Holiday Drive.  Jordi always wanted to help sick children, as a patient during the holidays herself, we all understood the greatest gift of Christmas is your health.  We have raised over $500,000.00 in the past 8 years for children spending their holidays in the hospital, families who are unable to work to take care of their ill child, and the added expenses that come with that.

This year we did something AMAZING!! Our Holiday Drive was dedicated to supporting Make-A-Wish Canada. Our Make-A-Wish child, Abigail, had one special request: a Taylor Swift-themed Christmas tree. It was a wish as beautiful and unique as her spirit, and there was no way we would let her down.

Together, alongside my sons Lucas and Laurence Fiorini, and our amazing Jordana’s Rainbows community, we had a goal to raise $50,000.00 for Make a Wish children.  On average did you know a wish costs approximately $10,000.00  Well we were amazed how people came together and as a community we not only delivered Abigail’s Taylor Swift-themed Christmas tree in all its sparkling, magical glory, we raised over $91,000 for @makeawishcanada!!  That’s not just a number. That’s hope, smiles, and wishes fulfilled for children like Abigail and their families. It’s a reminder of what can happen when people come together, inspired by love and fuelled by purpose.

I am beyond grateful for this community and everything we accomplish together. Jordana’s spirit lives in every dollar raised, every act of kindness, and every life we touch...
